Blog Party Link-ups

Here are some fun community events I participate in. They are called Blog Parties or Link-ups. Check them out if you have a blog that covers any of the family friendly topics listed or even if you don’t blog, but are interested in finding blogs to read that cover topics of interest.

  • This page is mostly for my personal use, so I can keep track of when and what to share in each link-up, but it might be helpful to you if you’re looking to connect with bloggers.
  • Please check each link-up’s rules and guidelines before joining, this page is just a general overview of what each link-up is about, at the time of writing this.
  • There are many more link-ups out there, these are just the few that I personally participate in as they align with the topics I cover at ChronicallyHopeful.com or they cover topics I’m interested in reading about, but not necessarily participating in myself.

Link-up Etiquette

For Bloggers who are thinking of participating in blog parties / link-ups

Please keep in mind that participating in these events requires two-way engagement. It is not polite or fair to drop links to your own content and not visit and comment on other people’s content. As you would hope they would be doing for you.

You get to share your links, but it is expected (and common curtesy) to visit and engage with other participants’ submitted content. At least a couple of interactions for each link you drop.

Each blog party will have its own rules and guidelines, though. So do make sure to read those before participating. There may be a limit on how many links you can drop or a set number of posts you are required to interact with.

Personally, I can’t commit to more than a few blog parties or link-ups per week if I want to be a good participant and engage with others in each party. So I won’t be participating in every one listed each week. I will stick to what I can realistically manage in a particular week.

Most importantly, these events are meant to be fun and help us stay connected.

Do let me know if there’s a blog party you think I would enjoy. I’d happily check them out and see if I can add them to the rotation.

Happy blogging!

Please share this page before you go. Thank you!
